Ammonites were tiny sea creatures that died out over 60 million years ago. Their fossilised remains are found across the globe and the detail in which they have been preserved is amazing. Also referred to as snakestones, the Ammonite bronze table lamp base from David Hunt is a detailed reproduction of a fossilised shell.
Handmade in their Cotswold workshop, this David Hunt table lamp is available to purchase on its own or complete with a custom made shade available in two colours. A black silk dupion shade lined with a beautiful brushed gold lining (as pictured) or a beautiful warm almond cream satin lined in brushed gold.
The tightly-bound swirl of the shell is hand finished with the metallic bronze coating highlighting the minute level of detail.
Sitting on a black base, this bronze table lamp base will look wonderful with a shade of your choice.
