With Laura Ashley lights so incredibly popular - and with good reason! – we couldn’t wait for the new collection to arrive. And we’re not disappointed.
Take an early peek into the new collection with a snapshot of pendant lights and armed chandeliers.
Frankly, anything that sparkles attracts our attention but we also appreciate just how important light fittings are for adding stylish aplomb, colour and detail to a space.
The Laura Ashley collection, from soft furnishings to lights, never fails to impress.
The versatility of their designs, along with the range of different styles and colour options also make their table and floor lamps, pendants, and armed chandeliers popular choices.
We’ve just started to add the latest Laura Ashley lights to the Lightbox family. So if you’re looking for a pendant light or chandelier, here’s what you can expect!
1. Chandelier Sumptuousness
The range of styles in the Laura Ashley lighting collection is vast but if there is one style of lighting that is strongly associated with this designer, it is the chandelier.
We’ve just added chandeliers to the Laura Ashley room including the Winchester and the Tate, both armed chandeliers but both quite different.
As well as the curved arms, the white finish across the entire Tate chandelier light fitting easily makes this a stand-out choice.
And the brass finish of the Winchester chandelier will also see this become a popular choice.
Both of these armed chandeliers are perfect for the hallway, dining room, kitchen/diner and living room and can be used with or without shades.
The Aanais is exactly what a chandelier should be (in our eyes, at least!) – droplets of crystals intertwined with tassels along with more layers and detailing easily make this a statement light. In other words, unapologetic opulence.
It’s close cousin is the Aisling with its more relaxed, Boho chic finish of dripping crystals and swathes of chain-like droplets. Unmistakably Laura Ashley, both of these chandeliers deserve closer inspection – and a place in the living room, hallway, dining room…
2. Kitchen Pendant Light Prowess
Introducing the perfect industrial pendant for classic shaker kitchen islands and breakfast bars.
The industrial style shows your bold and creative side. But if you find yourself with a classic Kitchen, traditionally styled or with the on-trend modern yet timeless Shaker style, choosing an industrial themed pendant that works in a softer space can be tough as even though the devil is in the detail, too much and it just doesn’t look right.
The Rufus pendants from Laura Ashley solve so many problems.
Deceptively simple in their styling, look closer and you’ll see it is the smaller details that really make these pendant lights pop.
There are four colourways in this range:
- Burnt orange – a darker shade of orange gives a warm hue to a room without being overly stark.
- Antique brass – a warm, not-too-yellow brass finish is ideal for the industrial style, especially as ‘industrial’ metals are a key component.
- Chrome – another great finish, the polished chrome of the Rufus pendant is bright without being overly glossy
- Black Nickel – also called ‘industrial nickel’ this very dark grey/virtually black finish on the pendant will easily slide into an industrial style kitchen or open plan living space.
As with most pendants, these lights work well individually or you can cluster them to great effect. They also work well ‘in line’ with each other giving extra dimension and focus to a key area such as the kitchen island or dining table.
3. Glass and Ceramic Pendants
Add elegantly fluted glass and ceramic textures to your kitchen island, breakfast bar, dining table or hallway.
We’ve just added two glass pendants and two ceramic pendants to the collection.
The fluted shade is a common feature across the Laura Ashley lighting collection this season and the Beca, with its white ceramic shade, sits comfortably within it. It is also available in two sizes.
The Pippa brings the finesse of smoked glass to a space but if you want detail without the frill, the Callaghan with its ribbed glass conical shade and antique brass fittings is worthy of a second glance.
More to come!
Don’t worry, there is more to come.
From table lamps to floor lamps, to more chandeliers and pendants, keep checking the NEW lights section or the Laura Ashley designer room for new products as we add them over the coming weeks.
